About Andrew Staib

Andrew Staib B.A, S.E.E.D, MRSS(T) grew up in Australia and first studied journalism. He studied Zen Shiatsu at the Ki Kai Centre and at the European School of Shiatsu and went on to study Movement Shiatsu with Bill Palmer. He qualified in 1997 and has worked full time ever since.

As well as maintaining a private practise, he has worked in a variety of places including Route 15, an H.I.V care centre, drug projects in London with both adults and teenagers, and for 5 years was the Shiatsu practitioner at the House of Commons, Westminster. He began to teach Zen Shiatsu on a treatment couch 5 years ago, naming his unique approach ‘Table Shiatsu’. He also teaches for the European School of Shiatsu and the Sussex School of Equine Shiatsu.

His lives in Brighton with his partner and their daughter.
